Laura Dierwa grew up in Troy, Michigan, and earned a degree in economics from Michigan State University in 2004. Ms. Dierwa began law school at the University of Detroit Mercy, and during her second year of law school, began working as a law clerk at Moss and Colella. During law school, Ms. Dierwa took insurance law and Michigan No-Fault classes, and decided to focus her career path on personal injury. After working at Moss & Colella for two years, it became clear to Ms. Dierwa that she had a passion for helping the victims of personal injury.
Ms. Dierwa passed Michigan Bar Exam in 2008, and was immediately hired as an associate at Moss & Colella. In every case she handles, Ms. Dierwa invests hours of hard work, diligence, and attention to detail. She can quickly recognize her client’s needs in order to provide the utmost level of communication, and will never put off until tomorrow what she can do today. Ms. Dierwa regularly attends personal injury seminars to maintain her tight grasp of the law and to keep an edge on insurance companies. She has assisted Vince Colella in many successful cases, including slip and fall accidents, motor vehicle accidents, sexual harassment and police misconduct claims, dram shop lawsuits, and mass tort claims. Ms. Dierwa also handles probate matters for the firm.
