Emily Lockard

Emily Lockard is an associate attorney at Moss & Colella, P.C., a Southfield, Michigan-based firm specializing in personal injury trial law. She was born in Royal Oak, Michigan and later attended college at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti on a full academic scholarship. Before moving on to law school, Ms. Lockard traveled extensively, taking the Trans-Siberian Railroad from Moscow to China and exploring all across South Korea. She graduated with honors from New York University School of Law in New York City, where she was an editor of the Law Review. During law school, Ms. Lockard interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She also worked for an organization that provides family law representation for low-income persons, and one that advocates for women’s access to affordable health care. Ms. Lockard has consistently demonstrated her commitment to defending the rights of individuals and helping those who find themselves in very difficult situations. She was admitted to the Bar in 2010. Ms. Lockard is married and has one young son.
